Introducing Esther Soh representing Selangor! Let’s get to know the inspiration for her pantun.

“For my pantun, I used water as a central theme because like a river, Selangor's roads fork out and twist around each other. I used 'hulu' and 'hilir' because the traffic jams in Selangor really do block up the whole flow (like if you were to block up one entry point in a river). Also, I wanted to make a tongue-in-cheek reference to all the water cuts Selangor keeps suffering from.”
